The space This listing is for a private bedroom with a well appointed ensuite, a kitchenette/laundry and living room. This stay fits two adults comfortably and is the number of guests we recommend. However, the space can and does fit up to four people, if needed. Your space is set up with a queen bed. If you require a 2nd or 3rd bed, you will need to set this up yourself. All mattresses and linen is provided. We can discuss this more upon arrival. Please do not sleep directly on the couch. Use the bedding provided for a more comfortable sleep and to protect the lounge. Guest access Please refer to our sketch of your space (in the photo collection) to get a feel for things. You will see how your space fits in with our home. My family and I live adjacent to your booked rooms & you will hear us at times during your stay. Expect household noise. Sometimes, noise can start early. Please refer to “Other details to note” below. You will see that your space includes a living room and a simple kitchenette/laundry. Whilst it is listed as "shared", it is predominantly yours. It is a "shared" space only because we will need to access the laundry 3-4 times per week, via your living room. Let’s chat this out once you’ve checked in. The backyard (which includes the pool, outdoor dining, fire pit, outdoor shower, kids cubby and swings, and undercover clothes line) is accessible through the garage. You’ll have access via a remote for the garage door. (Note: The rear garage door is manually operated by lifting from the middle at the bottom. This rear garage door is not remote operated) The backyard is a shared space and we welcome you to use and enjoy this area during your stay. This backyard is fully fenced. (‘Shared’ means “shared with me, only when I need to do some laundry”. There are no other Airbnb guests at this stay during your booking.) During your stay We’re willing to help you out whenever we can, and answer any questions you may have. Typically, I like to communicate through the Airbnb app. If we are home though, and you have a question, come knock and we’ll do our best to help. Other things to note We are a large & busy family. Although your space is private and secluded, you can expect to hear the tunes of family life during your stay. Our family can be noisy at times. Household noise can start early. It may be most prominent in the mornings around 6-9am and 3-7pm some afternoons. Noise during the weekends and holidays will vary. If you require a 2nd bed, you will need to set this up yourself. All mattresses and linen is provided. We can discuss this more upon arrival. Please do not sleep directly on the couch. Use bedding provided for a more comfortable sleep and to protect the lounge. We also have an adorable miniature dachshund, who is our doorbell. The quickest way to get her comfortable is ignore her and do not try to pat her. She will figure you out slowly. She is vocal with new arrivals and protective of her family, but is eventually affectionate toward guests. Please also note, this stay does NOT include WIFI. We do not have WIFI, so we cannot offer it.
