The main floor has a full-size kitchen and an adjoining living room. Off the kitchen is a huge deck w propane grill. This floor has 1 bedroom w/2 full-size beds. There is a full bathroom with a shower. The second floor has a master suite w/king bed a reading nook w/oversize chairs. There is a half bath just across from master bedroom. We do not accept 3rd party reservations. The person booking must be one of the occupants. Meadow is an amazing property. it has an amazing view from all directions. Sit out on the deck in the evenings and watch the elk and deer wonder into the yard. It is required that an AWD or 4x4 vehicle be brought from November through March. This is due to snow conditions. The cabin has been newly remodeled. The main floor has a large kitchen combo. The room is divided with an extra large wood table and chairs. The living room has a reclining couch and loveseat. A large screen TV with streaming channels. Great wifi throughout the cabin. There is a remote start propane fireplace. The kitchen has everything you need to prepare wonderful meals. Lots of cabinets and counter space. Gas stove, microwave, full-size refrigerator. The coffee corner has a kuerig coffee machine. We provide k-cups and hot chocolate. This floor also has a bedroom with 2 full-size beds. The bathroom across the hall has a walk-in shower, sink, and toilet. Upstairs is the master bedroom with a king-size bed and adjoining reading/sitting nook. The view is incredible. Across the landing from master bedroom is a 1/2 bath. Each room has individual tower heaters to keep the rooms warm and cozy. Do not move the heaters and do not shut off. Designated parking is to the right of the cabin with a ramp to the front door. Look for signs. You can temporarily park at the ramp to unload. Outdoor fires are prohibited to include portable firepits. This rental includes the upper 2 levels of the cabin. The main living area, kitchen, reading/sitting nook, bathrooms and 2 bedrooms and 3 beds. The main front door entrance is at 2nd level. See pictures. Please respect their property when wondering around. Elk and deer will always come into the yard to eat and sleep. Do not approach. they are very fast and unpredictable. They love carrots, and you can feed from the deck above. Don't go into their space. They will not be the initial instigator. If they are near the driveway, come and go as usual. Most likely, they will scatter. The village of Cloudcroft is 6 miles west of the home. Alamogordo is 22 miles down the mountain. You can easily walk to restaurants/dining, golfing, shopping, parks, playgrounds, tennis courts, basketball courts, and melodramas. Casinos in Ruidoso are approximately a 45 minute drive. Snow skiing in Cloudcroft (Ski Cloudcroft) is available when the ski area is open. Snow skiing in Ruidoso (Ski Apache) is approximately 1-1/2 hour drive. Additionally, White Sands National Monument is located approximately 1 hour from Cloudcroft on Hwy. 70. Please remember that we do not allow parties. Please agree to the guidelines for bringing a dog. The dog/dogs must be 1 year old or older and house trained. 1. Your dog/dogs must be crated if left unattended inside the cabin and not to be left out on the deck if applicable. 2. Your dog/dogs are not allowed on any of the furniture to include the beds. 3. Pick up your dogs waste immediately after it's done and dispose of it in the dumpster outside. 4. Please let Susan know the size, breed, and age of your dog. 5. If your dog is a big shedder, you may be charged for extra cleaning. There is a 25.00 per dog per stay fee that can be paid by a cash app or cash on arrival. We do not allow any form of smoking inside the cabin. You may smoke on the front or back deck if there are no fire restrictions in place. Please remember to put out the butts in the appropriate container. Do not throw into the yard.
