Private Room w/bath in Historic Birch Cottage

We welcome you to Birch Cottage! Make a toast to absolutely beautiful, bucolic, peaceful Roxbury in our historic home, c.1750. Lovely guest room w/hand painted furniture and private bathroom in the upstairs portion of our house. We also live in the house just to clarify and have cats. Lots of trees, flowers, forest and wildlife to observe outdoors. Sit and relax on either of our large patios. Our fish pond has a beautiful cascading waterfall! The space Our house was originally built in 1750 and redone in c. 1800. There are updates to the kitchen and bathrooms. We have a wood burning stove which works and also 3 other fireplaces which we do not use presently. There is a very cool fire pit made of stone through our back woods. The house is shared with us and our beautiful cats, but you will have your own guest room with private bath in the upstairs section of the house. You may also use our downstairs shower if you need more space. There are lots of trails within minutes of the house, the small downtown of Roxbury and major stores and restaurants just 20 minutes drive. Please reach out to us if you have any questions. Guest access Guests may use the common areas which include Kitchen, Dining Room, Living Room, Wood Stove (with assistance) and fire pit. Private guest room is upstairs with a private bathroom. Note: Guests may use our downstairs bathroom shower if more space is needed. During your stay My husband, Andrey and I live in the house and will be available most of the time, but we are always just a phone call away if something is needed. We are open to socialize with our guests if they would like to. Other things to note We have cats and there is also a set of steps that lead up to the guest room.
