"Podere Carpognane" Tuscany Holiday House

Cottage with 3 double bedrooms (sleeps 6), 2 bathrooms with shower, equipped kitchen, dining room, outdoor veranda. Surrounded by a large garden with olive trees and vineyard. Private pool in masonry, 10x5 meters, with sun loungers and umbrellas. Two covered parking spaces. It enjoys a sunny position overlooking the Pratomagno mountains. Ideal as a starting point for visiting Florence, Arezzo, Cortona, Siena and the Chianti hills in a few hours by car. Pets not allowed. The space The house consists of 3 large double bedrooms, all with wardrobe and drawers, large windows will illuminate your stay. Each window is equipped with a mosquito net and blackout curtain. Large dining room with table and chairs; the host recommends using the comfortable outdoor veranda for your breakfasts, lunches and dinners. It can accommodate a maximum of 6 people, including children and/or infants. Upon request, the host provides a camping bed for babies and a high chair. Guest access The accommodation, garden, swimming pool, vegetable garden and vineyard are at the guest's complete disposal. Possibility to pick, together with the owner, the seasonal vegetables we grow directly from our garden Only some areas are off-limits, as they are technical rooms necessary for the host to maintain the property, but they will be appropriately listed upon arrival. The pool is not fenced, so children under 12, including those who can already swim, must always be accompanied by an adult in the water. The property is partially fenced, so children under 12 must always be under adult supervision. You will be in direct contact with nature and its inhabitants (birds, insects, lizards, spiders etc.), you will fall asleep with the sound of crickets and wake up with the sound of birds. Other things to note Most of the interior furnishings are handmade by the owners, mainly the artist was Carlo (my father) who designed, created and renovated most of the furnishings (chairs, furniture, stools, bed, dresser, wardrobe and even the bathrooms). Some items I have personally restored, family mementos or purchased at antique markets. I love this place and the peace and relaxation you can breathe in. Don't forget that you'll be in the countryside, surrounded by cultivated fields and groves.
