Immersed in nature, Moon Cottage is a beautifully styled bush retreat. Best suited to mature couples with an interest in the great outdoors it is a bird watchers paradise. Admire the expansive forest views from the two north facing spacious bedrooms or take a relaxing soak in the large bath overlooking the peaceful bush. View the scenic river gorge from the deck or enjoy the solar design that keeps you cosy warm in winter and cool in summer. Kitchen with fridge, microwave and unfiltered views. The space Moon Cottage Bush Retreat offer just that, a retreat from the hustles and bustles of life. Set on a large natural bush property, the fully self contained modern home offers space and views in every direction. Initial rate includes 4 people though the property can accommodate more on request. Additional persons are $25 per night. There is a small self contained tiny house/studio adjacent to the Moon Cottage that can also be rented on request. There would be an additional charge. This space is occasionally occupied by the owner when they are at the property undertaking maintenance or bushfire mitigation work on the surrounding 300 acres. The property is not suitable for small children as native wildlife move freely around the property. Guest access Guests have access to the house and house yard area. Should they choose to wander about this private property they do so at their own risk. Other things to note The get to the secluded location of Moon Cottage required around 10 kms on a well managed gravel road suitable for 2WD and EVs. There is a tiny House/studio located adjacent to Moon Cottage which is occasionally occupied by owner. As there is no council collection provisions, guests are required to take their rubbish and recycling with them when they leave. There is recycling drop-off near the Fire shed at Mongarlowe. There is no wifi on the property but mobile phone connections are available approximately 200 meters up the driveway from the house. Because the house yard is not secure, small children are not encouraged. Registration Details PID-STRA-40426
