They have done beautiful mosaic work in San Juan as well as in Taiwan. We have no air conditioning; we do not need it. The trade winds cool off as they go up the mountains from the coast and by the time they climb 27 hundred feet above sea level they have left the heat behind. In the summer the temperature is pleasant. In February and March you may appreciate a heater. We have one. The house commands a breathtaking 360 degrees view of the San Cristobal canyon and surrounding ladscape. By the way, you can experience the waterfalls of the canyon at a reasonable fee that can be negotiated. Sunsets are amazing. Downtown Barranquitas is 12 Min. drive from the house. There you will reach a small colonial Spanish town with its townsquare and church. You'll also be able to reach other shopping centers with drugstores an supermarkets by driving for 17 Min. on highway 152 North. You can also take day-trips to beaches and other places of interest in Puerto Rico. Other things to note The listing is approx 1 hour from the Airport and can take 1.5 hours for rush hours
