Two houses right by the sea in Katthammarsvik

A wonderful place by the sea with all the conveniences that come from being part of a village with restaurants, shops and public transport - at the same time as you are being offered a solitary and highly exclusive retreat in the so beautiful costal nature of Eastern Gotland. Ideal for two families who want to spend their vacation together. The space The main house has on the ground floor a fully equipped kitchen with a small kitchen table, a living room with a fireplace, a bathroom with shower and a larger dining area with a fantastic sea view. There is also a small washing machine in the kitchen. A rather steep staircase takes you to the upper floor with two bedrooms as well as a small TV room. The bedroom, with a smaller double bed, has a balcony with a beautiful view of the sea. The other bedroom has two single beds. The smaller house has two bedrooms, one with a double bed and a fireplace and one with two single beds. The kitchen is fully equipped but lacks a dishwasher. There is a smaller kitchen table with room for 4 people. There is a toilet but no shower. In addition there is a small room that can be used as an office. Guest access There is a smaller third house (15m2 - house) that will be locked. You will have the keys to it in case you for instance would need a tool or something else that are in there. But that is by way of exception. This house is mainly used for storage of our personal things and is therefore not meant to be used on a regular basis. However, all other houses (including a forth one - a 10m2 earth cellar/store) will of course be at full disposal. Other things to note The property is situated with a stunning view at the very front line of the Baltic sea, but it is also a village house. That means we have neighbours at both sides and a tarmac road passing by the house not far from the gate. The road is hidden by a thick and tall hedge of lilacs, but a times there can be some traffic going back and forth to the harbor restaurant and to the main beach of Katthammarsvik. We ourselves are never disturbed by this traffic, but in order to give our guests an as accurate description as possible, we want to mention it all the same.
