The space WHIMSICAL & BEACHY As soon as you enter the playful Periwinkle french doors you will be greeted by a spacious floorplan which is flooded with light from the vast windows showing off the impressive sweeping waterfront landscape with the mountains beyond. You have a gorgeous water view from cooking in the kitchen to enjoying a meal at the dining table or while retiring for the day in the bedrooms. Hang out on the front porch where there is a cozy breakfast nook and enough seating for 6. From here, you can watch Alki lifestyle unfold such as cycling, long boarding, and boats sailing by. Ease into the day here while you sip a cappuccino, read a book, or catch up on some journaling. Then, spend some time in your private backyard which comes complete with a barbeque and a picnic set. Or, go ahead and get involved in the action yourself! There are plenty of rental vendors nearby to gear you up for whichever adventure you’d like to take on for the day. The neighborhood wraps around the coastline of West Seattle giving you jaw dropping views of the Seattle cityscape. Just don’t forget to turn around! In the charming beach town, sits Alki Beach Park packed full of restaurants, cafes, and bars. You will also find a brewery hosting yoga sessions, beach shops, historic landmarks, and several iconic restaurants. We're happy to share our recommendations with you! Running parallel to the sandy beach, cyclists, runners, long boarders and rollerbladers can take advantage of a paved, 2.5-mile-long pathway. Bicycles, kayaks and stand-up paddleboards are conveniently available for rent. On a sunny day, you might just want to pull up a lounge chair and snag yourself one of the grills and firepits there for public use. GETTING AROUND The West Seattle Water Taxi is a convenient way to get to and from downtown Seattle, leaving from its dock near the Seattle Ferry Terminal in downtown. This 15-minute boat ride drops you right off on the eastern end of Alki Beach. There is street side parking in downtown if you prefer to drive yourself. Downtown is about 20 minutes away by car. CANCELLATION POLICY To receive a full refund, guests must cancel within 48 hours of booking, and the cancellation must occur at least 28 days before check-in.
