Pristine Apartment In The Heart Of Selfoss

80 sq. ft. old Icelandic style apartment conveniently located in Selfoss. It’s about 45 minutes from Reykjavik, in an ideal location to explore Iceland’s major attractions. It's within an hours drive of Þingvellir National Park, Geysir, Gullfoss and Kerið which make up the golden circle and about 1.5 hours away from the blue lagoon. It’s a good base for touring south of iceland with Seljalandfoss, Eyjafjallajokull, Skogafoss being an hour’s drive away among many others. HG-1220 The space The apartment is close to: -The bus pick up and drop off point to/from Reykjavik and all of the South of Iceland (5 minutes walk) -Supermarkets; Kronan and Netto (5 - 6 Minutes walk) -Restaurants and cafes ( The closest being 2 minutes walk and more within a 10 minute walk radius) -Warmed public swimming pool and gym (5 minutes walk) -Horse riding tours at Eldhestar (10 minutes drive) -Local hand crafts store (10 minutes walk) -Relaxing walk at the river bank (2 minute walk away) With this apartment you get a fully equipped kitchen, a living room with a dining space cum work table, 2 bedrooms with two twin beds each which can be joined to make a double at your request and a bathroom with a shower, toilet, washing machine and drier which you can use at your convenience. There is free parking should you be driving and free wifi in the apartment. It’s a good base for touring south of iceland with places like Seljalandfoss, Eyjafjallajokull, Skogafoss, Vik, Landmannalaugar, among others. Guest access The whole apartment is yours for the duration of your stay. Other things to note The apartment is on the lower floor. Since it's in the old Icelandic style, that floor is half underground (they were built like that to minimize heating cost in the old days as this was done using either diesel or charcoal, which were expensive). However, there is plenty of natural light and it is very airy. There is a special fly screen covering the open-able section of the window so there are no bugs, cats and/or leaves coming into the house and you can leave the windows open. For reference, the ground level is at the top of the heater in the living room.
