The space The Gathering Place is a large lodge-style cabin designed to comfortably host big groups. With 6 bedrooms and multiple gathering areas, guests can spread out while still enjoying time together. The main living area offers comfortable seating and space to relax after a day exploring Yellowstone or enjoying the outdoors around Island Park. The kitchen is stocked for preparing meals for a group, with plenty of counter space and seating for gathering together during breakfast or evening dinners. For entertainment, the cabin features two separate recreation spaces. There is a dedicated billiards room with a pool table as well as a separate game room, giving guests multiple places to play, relax, and spend time together. Outside you’ll find space to enjoy the fresh mountain air with a hot tub, fire pit, and plenty of room to gather under Idaho’s wide starry skies. Parking is available in the large driveway area with room for multiple vehicles. This is a comfortable cabin in the woods designed for groups to relax, reconnect, and enjoy time together. Guest access Guests have access to the entire cabin and property during their stay. This includes all living spaces, bedrooms, the game room, billiards room, outdoor hot tub, fire pit area, and driveway parking. The cabin has a private entrance with self check-in using a keypad on all three doors, allowing guests to arrive anytime after check-in. Inside the cabin you’ll find comfortable gathering areas, a large kitchen designed for preparing meals for a crowd, and multiple entertainment spaces including a dedicated billiards room with a pool table and a separate game room for additional fun. Outside, guests can unwind in the private hot tub, gather around the fire pit, or simply enjoy the peaceful forest setting and fresh mountain air. With room for up to 26 guests, The Gathering Place is designed to be a comfortable home base for Yellowstone adventures, fishing trips, snowmobile weekends, and family reunions. Good to Know Before Booking • The Gathering Place is a large cabin in a mountain community surrounded by nature, so wildlife sightings and changing weather are part of the experience. • Island Park is a rural area, so some services and stores may be a short drive away. We recommend picking up groceries before arriving or planning a quick trip into town. • Winter visitors should be prepared for snowy conditions. Roads are maintained, but vehicles with good traction or four-wheel drive are recommended during winter months. • The cabin is designed for large groups and family gatherings, so guests may hear the normal sounds of people enjoying shared spaces. • A rental agreement will be sent after booking and must be completed prior to arrival. • A security deposit/hold is placed before check-in and released after your stay if there is no damage or missing items. This functions similarly to a hotel hold.
