Room in quiet home next to golden sand beach

Private room in my home with own non-ensuite bathroom. 150m walk to a gorgeous golden sand beach - detached house in Levenwick, South Mainland. Enjoy a relaxing stay - perfect for short breaks or a base for exploring further afield. Ideal for those interested in wildlife, scenery, walking, kayaking and sea swimming. 8 minute walk from number 6 bus to Sumburgh Airport or Lerwick. Seals, seabirds and the occasional otter can be seen from the beach, with frequent cetacean sightings nearby. The space Your private ground floor bedroom has a standard double bed, wardrobe, mirror, kettle and hairdryer. It has a garden view. There is no TV. Tea, coffee and porridge pots are provided in your room. The non-ensuite bathroom has a bath and shower over the bath. It is down a hall way from the bedroom. The bathroom will not be used by anyone else during your stay. Books and maps are available to borrow. Guest access The entrance is shared. Other areas of the house are private. You are welcome to explore the garden and to store / dry outdoor gear / bicycles in the garage. A washing machine and tumble dryer are available by arrangement for a small extra fee. Private off road parking for one car is available. Guests may occasionally use the microwave in the kitchen to prepare light meals. During your stay I am happy to discuss Shetland and to recommend walks, paddles, safe places to swim or areas to explore in addition to local attractions and places to eat. Other things to note I occasionally have a Yorkshire Terrier dog here. If this is applicable during your stay I will ask you in advance.
