Island Haven B&B is divided into three separate spaces. It can be rented individually or the entire home.(Please see my other listing for the other room). The Island Room: The front of the Island Haven B&B has an open concept living, two double bed with fully equipped private kitchen and outdoor living space. The Oasis Room: The back of the Island Haven B&B has a one bedroom (queen size), with private outdoor living space and fully equipped outdoor kitchen. The Tiny Paradise Room: The side of the Island Haven B&B is the owners residents when Ana’s staying on the island. Common areas: barbecue and grounds. I may or may not be on the Island, however if I am there while you stay I can provide additional services (such as arrangements for taxi's, or a cooked dinner ( I am a chef at heart), please email me for cost and availability. HISTORIC PORT OF ENTRY...ENGLISH HARBOUR ANTIGUA. Island Haven B&B Antigua is surrounded by an array of gifts, clothing, food stores, restaurants, local venders, live entertainment, beaches, and nightclubs to delight you. Shirley Heights is just a 5 minute drive from Island Haven. Most stores or Restaurants are based in and around Historic Nelson's Dockyard, Falmouth Harbour Marina or Catamaran Marina. With the History of the dockyard surrounding you, this makes a picturesque place. There is also a bank where you can exchange travelers cheques and a post office. Also a number of well stocked supermarkets where you can purchase most of what you need for food preparations. This quaint island home has a lot of privacy with many fruit trees on the property and awesome neighbors. Since everything is close to Island Haven, walking is the most economical if you want to stay within the area. There is a bus stop at the end of the road( 2 min walk) from Island Haven, that can take you to the bus terminal of St John's (capital) - EC$ 3.75 (bus route #17) from there, there are many other routes that can be traveled through different parts of the island. Taxiing from English Harbour to western beaches would be a trial to do on multiple days and cost would mount up quickly - most of 40 minutes each way over the central hills - US$ 80 + return . Renting a car is cheaper than multiple taxis but driving at night on ill lit roads with vicious potholes and no sidewalks ( so pedestrians on the road) can be tricky and should be completely avoided if you plan to enjoy a cocktail or two!
