Limestone Retreat

Limestone Retreat is nestled in a pretty valley, ideal for a peaceful escape in the country. Perfect for couples or a family looking for a quiet weekend or longer stay. We are located 10km from Yea with its local attractions, 5km to the Rail Trail and close to Eildon and Mt Bulla. The barn has a large open plan living space with a loft. It has a queen bed, and two sets of bunks, which can be curtained off. The dining area looks out onto a dam and beyond are beautiful rolling hills The space The accommodation is a large American barn style building situated on a working farm, located across from the house so you may occasionally see household activity. Inside there is a large open plan living area with a cosy fireplace, evaporative cooling, a small bathroom, a kitchen with cooking facilities and appliances. There is a TV, boardgames, books and a pool table. Firewood will be supplied for the cooler months of the year. Outside, enjoy a coffee on the patio overlooking views of the dam and the rolling hills beyond, or cook a BBQ and dine outside, finish the evening by the outdoor fire with a few drinks and toasted marshmallows. Being a rural property there are parts of the land that is untamed and has rustic charm, you may see the occasional deer and you will definitely encounter insects and bugs, there are lots of ducks on the dam and you will hear the birds at dawn and dusk. Guest access Guests have access to the whole property for lovely walks along the creek or in the garden. You will have absolute privacy however our house is 50 metres away if you need anything. Important note: Due to an unfenced dam it is unsafe for young children to play outside unaccompanied by an adult. Other things to note Pets are welcome, however there is no enclosed outside area so dogs will be required to be on a lead when outdoors if they tend to run off
