Large Sunny Bedroom 3 Blocks From Campus

This large sunny bedroom with interesting layout and vaulted ceiling is just blocks from campus, grocery stores, bars, and restaurants. Friendly, respectful, and clean housemates, individual room temperature control, super fast wifi, and kittens (well, cats, but we still call them kittens). I would prefer a long-term booking if possible. If you need to park a car at the house, I would ask $75/month for parking. The space This 215sqft room has a fun/interesting long layout with a vaulted ceiling with a ledge and cubbyhole plus a large sunny windows. It has its own independent thermostat for heat control in the winter and a digital window a/c for the summer so you can set things to your liking. The room has gigabit ethernet jacks and of course we have wifi too (we have gigabit internet service so stream away!). A towel and bedding for the queen size bed is provided - if you need anything else just ask. Bathroom is shared with 2 other clean and respectful people. It should be noted that the house itself is 120 years old, and is by no means perfect. The vast majority of it has been updated within the last 8 years, but there are still some areas that could stand improvement. Overall guests seem very pleased with the house and frequently comment on the quality of work. Guest access On the first floor you can use the kitchen, living room, and foyer. There's also a porch and patio area. Upstairs you have access only to this bedroom and the bathroom down the hall. You're welcome to use dishes, utensils, pots/pans, etc.. in the kitchen just clean whatever you use. You can also use staples like salt, sugar, spices, etc... but please do not take any substantive food items without asking first. In the common are there is a community computer with Microsoft Office and a laser printer which you're welcome to use. During your stay I'm almost always around and if I'm not, there will be someone else in the house who can help you! We are friendly and hope you'll introduce yourself to everyone and let us know a bit about yourself and your visit. After that if you prefer to do your own thing most of the time that's just fine! Just so you know, the other people in the house are long-term residents (not airbnb guests/strangers) so this is a very safe place with people who know the house and town very well. Other things to note This is a shared living space; if you're not equipped to treat it as such, please book a hotel room instead. The house is occupied by a few grad/post-doc age or young working individuals who are generally quiet and easygoing, and we would like to share it with folk who fit comfortably into such a setting. We like to keep the house clean and you are expected to clean up after yourself in the bathroom and kitchen. We do not do any in-room cleaning during your stay and we do not, despite the name of the service, supply breakfast.
