On the beautiful street , surrounded by centennial trees, stands this beautiful 19th century house. It’s located just a block away from Northwestern University, near the Foster "L" station (Purple Line Linden-Howard), and the Davis St Metra station (Kenosha-Chicago). Close to parks, bike path, beaches and commercial area, it's ideal for travelers, students, post doc, visiting professors, professionals The space In remodeling this space we did our best to retain its vintage character while simultaneously incorporating elements of our original artistic BOKIKI design. BOKIKI is name of two artists, BOKI and IKI, and BOKIKI HOUSE is one of their projects; to learn more see (Website hidden by Airbnb) During your stay If any question, guests are welcome to contact me via SMS Other things to note Dear GUEST, Welcome to BOKIKI HOUSE! You are in one of the oldest houses in the Evanston historical district which is situated literally at the Northwestern University campus. In remodeling this space we did our best to retain its vintage character while simultaneously incorporating elements of our original artistic BOKIKI design. BOKIKI is name of two artists, BOKI and IKI, and BOKIKI HOUSE is one of their projects; to learn more see (Website hidden by Airbnb) All rooms are both comfortable and spacious; each has its own unique charm. Unfortunately due to a city ordinance we are not allowed to supply room keys. You can lock your room when inside, but not when outside the room (for safety reason, in case of fire). It is important to keep the outside door locked at all times, even though the area around the campus is quite safe. We have a person on duty Monday through Friday from 1:30 to 4:30 who prepares the rooms and keeps BOKIKI house clean. If you are staying longer then two days, and you need your room cleaned, or sheets and towels washed, our staff will be happy to do it for an additional price; just text us and let us know. In order to keep the house hospitable for all please respect the space you share with others. Our old charming historical lady is not sound proof. Some people go to bed early, please walk softly and try not to slam any door. Please, AFTER 10pm try to minimize the noise level! Please keep the bathrooms clean, particularly after taking a bath or shower, or using the sink. There is the basket in which you can find cleaning sprays and paper tissue; you can use toilet paper to collect loose hair. Please use the trash basket for all waste such as sanitary napkins, tissues, dental floss, etc. Before check-out please clean after yourself, and don’t forget to leave the key on the table inside your room. Make sure that you securely close the outside door when leaving. When in the house you are welcome to use the complementary BOKIKI SLEEPERS that are located in the main entranceway! Do not hesitate to call or text us directly or through AirBnb if you have any questions. Important: Make sure when entering the house you RETURN the key to the key box . Your personal key will be on the desk in your room, and don’t forget when checking out to leave the key on the desk . Do not loose the key ! For lost key guest will be charged $200 ENJOY YOUR STAY WITH US!
