Description
Our newly renovated guest house is completely self contained with a large private yard and private access. There are two dedicated off street car parks. We are centrally located between Adelaide Airport (Car: 15 min), Adelaide City (Train: 7 min, Car: 14 min, Bus: 15 min) and Adelaide shoreline (Car: 15 min). Islington train station is a 13 min walk (1.1km) and Bus stop 15 South Rd is a 5 min walk (450m). Our home is guest ready with fresh linen and towels provided as well as guest amenities. The space Complimentary supplies A limited complimentary supply of basic items will be provided in the property when you arrive to make your initial stay comfortable, especially if you are travelling from overseas, interstate or just arriving late. They are, coffee, tea, sugar, long life milk, oil, salt, pepper, sponge, detergent, paper towel, chux cloths, basic cleaning products, toilet paper and hand soap. Once these supplies are used they will not be replenished for the duration of your stay. WIFI The WIFI name and password are printed on the modem in the lounge next to the TV. The internet is unlimited NBN broadband. TV The TV in the lounge room is a smart TV with access to Netflix etc. The TV in the bedroom is not a smart TV, however, there is a firestick installed for access to Netflix etc. Simply select Firestick on the HDMI source to gain access. Filtered drinking water The cold water at the kitchen sink tap is constantly filtered for drinking water. Air conditioning There are wall mounted heating and cooling split systems installed in the bedrooms. There is a silent mode that can be enabled if you find the system too noisy at night. Laundry There is a washing machine and laundry trough located in the bathroom. There is laundry washing pods located in the laundry trough cupboard to get you started. Backyard The guest house private rear yard is approximately 100m2. Fire Pit There is a fire pit located in the backyard of the property. A small amount of wood is supplied complimentary to get you started. Additional kindling and firewood can be purchased at the ‘On the Run’ service station on Regency Road which is a 5 min walk (500m). Additional firewood can also be purchased at the larger supermarkets and shopping centres if desired. BBQ A gas BBQ is supplied at the rear of the property. If you require assistance to use the BBQ please do not hesitate to ask. Bins There is a general waste (blue lid) and recycling (yellow lid) bin supplied at the rear of the guesthouse along the footpath next to the fence. Bins are emptied at the curb side by council trucks Wednesday mornings and we will take the bins out Tuesday evening for you. Guest access The two dedicated off street car parking positions are clearly signed for guests so that they know where to park on arrival. There is signage that clearly designates the private access to the guesthouse. There is sensor lights for guest arriving and departing at night. Access is via a side gate entry of the primary street fronted home. As you walk down the side path you will approach the rear yard of the primary street fronted home which is completely segregated with 1.8m privacy fencing to the front entrance door of the guest house. A lock box is located at the entrance door of the guest house which contains front and back door keys. Other things to note Please note that if you book as a single guest only one of the bedrooms will be available to you. The other bedroom will be locked in order to avoid additional linen and housekeeping fees.
