Located a few miles from Univ. of Vermont Law School. From March 1st to May 2st it's recommended that your car is AWD. The roads here in Vermont can be rough during the spring. The space This old home was built mostly with reclaimed lumber, which gives it amazing character on both the inside and out! This listing is for our 2ND FLOOR SUITE with shared bathroom. This suite is located in the unique turret room as seen in our cover photo. It has a new king size bed with a separate living room that includes a very comfortable sleeper sofa and TV. Both the 2nd Floor Private Suite (this listing) and the 2nd Floor Private Bedroom (different listing) share the full bathroom on the second floor. Please be advised that one flight of stairs is required to get to the second floor. A large outdoor deck overlooks this beautiful 8 acre property, which was formerly a horse farm. With views of a large pasture, creek, private pond and numerous fruit trees, it is the perfect place to sit back and relax. For the adventurous, there is plenty to explore on and around this property or take a stroll up to the farm to see the animals. We do have an indoor/outdoor farm cat. Guest access We have a shared downstairs living room with wood burning stove. Guests have full access to the property including deck with outdoor BBQ grill. The inn keepers own Putting Down Roots Farm and Roma's Butchery and will provide a personalized tour at your request. Our Butcher Shop is less than a mile away, stop in and pick up some fresh local meats. During your stay Guests are welcome to contact us by email, phone or text. We enjoy visiting with our guests, but are happy give them a nice quiet space as well. Our place can be peaceful or adventurous, you decide! We are happy to show you around our farm, which is located just a short walk from the property. Other things to note This house has three private rooms available for guests. This listing is for our 2ND FLOOR PRIVATE SUITE, which includes two rooms and a shared bathroom. One room has a king size bed and the other has a comfortable Murphy bed and TV. Our other two rental spaces are a 1st remodeled bedroom with its own private bathroom and the 2nd upstairs private bedroom with shared bathroom.
