Hello and welcome to our beautiful guest room with a view in Kempten/Allgäu! Located in a quiet Kempten residential area surrounded by gardens, meadows and forests. Please note: the guest room is not centrally located downtown! So if you still book, you should not criticize the quiet location as negative! The lovingly furnished room is ideal for a single person or a couple who want to explore the beautiful Allgäu. The space Our guest room with a panoramic view… …is located in the attic of a semi-detached house with a beautiful view of the Alpine panorama. Access to the room is through our house, but that's not a problem. You sleep in a double bed (160 x 200) on new Schlaraffia mattresses. Towels are provided for our guests in the private bathroom with shower & toilet. Coffee and tea can be made in the room; everything you need is provided. A fridge is also available. For guests departing on Sunday, we offer breakfast for 5 euros/person upon request. Coffee and fresh rolls of your choice from the local bakery. Our guests can park for free right in front of the house. Kempten is the metropolis of the Allgäu region. By car, you can reach the city center in about 3–4 minutes. It takes about 15 minutes by bus and the nearest bus stop is about 400 meters from the house. The train station can be reached in about 20–25 minutes. In Kempten's city center, a visit to St. Lorenz Basilica, Rathausplatz (Town Hall Square), and the Erasmus Chapel is a must. But Kempten has a lot to offer, and not just for culture vultures. The large Campomare adventure pool with its extensive sauna area, a new indoor climbing gym right across the street, and countless cycling and hiking trails in and around Kempten provide plenty of opportunities for sports enthusiasts. But also stylish shopping, cozy restaurants and always open-air events or in the Kempten "BigBox" complete a stay in the city. Just a cat jump away, about 10 km, are the Grünten lifts, the second largest ski resort in the Allgäu, in Nesselwang there is a small but fine ski resort. There, you can have a lot of fun on the summer toboggan run in the summer. Within a radius of about 40 km, there are numerous attractions that make for great excursions – Neuschwanstein Castle in Füssen, the Nebelhorn in Oberstdorf, the Breitach Gorge, the Eistobel, the Sturmannshöhle cave, and the Zugspitze (Germany's highest mountain). You can also reach beautiful Lake Constance by car in about 1 hour. Between mountains and lakes, the Allgäu Lake Land offers something for everyone, whether you want to be active in sports, just relax or enjoy the good Allgäu cuisine. Relax by crystal-clear lakes, and discover castles and fairytale palaces. Conquer one of the breathtaking peaks of the Allgäu Alps or be enchanted by a dreamlike winter landscape.
