Light and airy, spacious private room, Queen size bed (UK King Size). 1st floor, garden view. Access to garden 1.5 acres, free parking, 10 miles to Stansted Airport. 4.2 miles to Bishops Stortford Train station. No public Transport. We look forward to welcoming you to share our own home in the heart of the Hertfordshire Countryside. Two shared bathrooms: Deluxe renovated bathroom (shower, bathtub, toilet, bidet and sink) next to this room, another shower/toilet/sink bathroom on Ground floor. The space Our home originated as two brick cottages (originally a duplex) built in about the 1850’s which were combined and dramatically upgraded by the previous owner between about 1996 and 2006. This is now our dream home in the Hertfordshire countryside. We have continued to upgrade with a modern kitchen, full rebuild of the bathroom right beside this room, new double glazing of the 1st and 2nd stories etc. This room is in our own home, which is outside the delightful Village of Much Hadham. You are welcome use our spacious garden (1.5 acres) and meet our friendly, though elderly dog, and walk in the countryside. This is a Light and airy, spacious private room with double bed, on 1st floor, recently redecorated. Bed has new mattress. Stairs, no lift. New double glazing, window overlooks the garden. Light obscuring roll-up window blind if you like to sleep in. The shared bathroom right next to this room has recently been rebuilt with a spacious shower, bathtub, toilet, bidet and sink. On the Ground floor is the other shared bathroom with toilet, sink and shower. All showers powered by high pressure water pump. Guest access Shared access to modern kitchen on on a do-it-yourself basis. There is both instant and “real coffee” and tea on a do-it-yourself basis. You are welcome to use the kitchen for your breakfast and help yourself to cereal, bread, jams, butter, eggs, milk, porridge (you can cook this in the microwave or on the stove) and I’m sure you will leave everything clean or in the dishwasher. Even when we have visitors, there will always be one of the comfortable ground floor rooms where you can sit and relax. During your stay This is our home and we look forward to making you welcome, and are happy to allow you your privacy as well. We can be reached by mobile phone if we are out if you need information, either about the house or area. Other things to note Free unlimited WiFi. In July 2020 we upgraded to SuperFast WiFi, so now fast, reliable and free to guests. We are ten miles from Stansted Airport, however we are OFF the normal flight path, so planes are heard infrequently. The room has excellent new double glazing so very quiet.
