Trendy, cosy Stockholm: near to all

Minimum 18 days. Longer stays prefarable. Within 15-20 min walk to almost anything within the Stockholm city center – my place is situated in the heart of Södermalm, squeezed between SOFO and Hornstull, with plenty of nice areas. Easy to walk, bike and travel with commute train, bus or subway to all main stations such as: Arlanda/Stockholm Airport, Stockholm Fair, Stockholm City. Video that show nearby places. You will find that the place is close to nearly everything and placed at a calm and quite place. Direct communications to the Arlanda airport and the Stockholm Fair. A charmingly mixed, open minded, boheme chic and safe neighborhood - a perfect base to experience Stockholm, either for work or pleasure. LOCATION Situated in the heart of Stockholm, Södermalm, which is one of Stockholms city centers. Within walking and biking distance to museums, great restaurants, trendy and creative shopping areas and boutiques. (Close to the Abba hotell Rival, organic food stores, spectacular city sightings and small trendy shops.) Famous traditional tourist attractions all within 15- 25 minutes walking distance: like the Old town, the Royal Castle, Slussen, Djurgården (35 min), and about 30 min walk to the Central Station. With subway it takes around 5-8 minutes to the Central Station. TRANSPORTATION You will be staying within 5-7 minutes walk from the metro line station "Mariatorget" as well as the commuter train (pendeltåg) station "Södra station" or "Stockholm Södra". Now you can travel extremely easy between Arlanda airport as well as the Stockholm Fair from my station Stockholm Södra, just a 4 minute walk from my place. Several city buses are close by. No matter where you are going, public transportation could not be any closer. There are also relatively good parking possibilities on the street. As said, wIth the "pendel" it is unusually simple as well as cheap to travel from Arlanda, the main air port to my place. YOUR ROOM We will share common areas as kitchen and bathroom. The apartment it not very big (the photos are making the place look somewhat bigger) but normally there are no problems sharing. You can easily get your private space. During summer I will be in the countryside. But I might get back to the city. Then you will always get notified some days in advance. There is of course WIFI. Note that the fee only have one (1) guest in mind. No other guests than listed. Important. The apartment has a pretty well equipped kitchen. This includes hot plates, owen, water cuttler, coffee maker as well as most other kitchen utilities such as plates, cutlery, glasses, pots and pans. (Note no microwave or toaster!) There is an iron and ironing board as well as a hair dryer. (Free access to the common laundry room in the building which has industrial size washers, dryers and a drying cabinet - for longer stays only or upon specific request.) A bath tub in the bathroom. Due to water shortage I ask you to avoid long showers. (I am only saying this since I have had guests that took 2 showers /day and each time showers 10 minutes. Not ok. One shower per day is max). Bed linen and towels are included. If longer stays you wash them yourself. (Free washing facilities.) P.S. Please read the house rules before booking. Guest access Full access to kitchen and bathroom and hallway area. Since I work from home I often sit in the kitchen working. That is my home office 2-3 days every week, between aprox 10 am to 4 pm. Please avoid cooking food after 8.00 pm. (Tea, coofee, bread (fika) is no problem but to cook a full meal efter 8.00 pm is a bit late Scandinavian time.) Your room is the master bedroom. During your stay We share bathroom and kitchen. Avoid full meal cooking after 8 pm. Also, avoid phone calls after 9 pm unless, urgent or very, very short. :) And when both of us are home, both of us use headsets listening to something, on the phone so on.
