St Cergues - Haute Savoie (Geneva region)

Village house (located close to the Geneva border (2km) and Thonon/Evian and Lake Geneva Village house located in St Cergues close to the Swiss border and Lake Geneva. The space Our little house is located in the lovely French village of St Cergues, close to a small supermarket, excellent bakery, and tempting butcher shop. This is our regularly-used holiday home and therefore many of our personal belongings are in the house. Even though we have 3 bedrooms, we only wish to have max. five guests at a time, but you are free to choose which of the three bedrooms you want to use. Master bedroom and bedroom 3 have built-in mosquito nets. Kitchen is fully equipped with dishwasher and gas cooker - electric oven. The living room is very cosy and there is a satellite TV (UK, French, German, Swiss, Italian, Spanish channels). On the terrace in front of the house, there is a marble table which is wonderfully placed for breakfast. There is a second terrace up at the end of the garden where you get the evening sun - perfect for enjoying a nice cocktail. BBQ (charcoal) - Deck Chairs are available. On the the Alpes du Léman website - https://en.alpesduleman.com - you can find a wealth of information as to what you can do in the area. Excellent hiking opportunities, swimming in the lake, colourful markets. Please note that guests need to have transport. The closest bus stop for those wishing to go into Geneva by public transport is 2 km away and buses run every hour. By going in to the next village (Jussy) which is 5 km away, busses run more frequently. Notre maison se situe dans le petit village de St Cergues à 2km de la frontière suisse (Jussy) et à 10 km d'Annemasse. A 200 m de la maison il y a une boulangerie (excellente), une boucherie (également excellente) et un petit supermarché Casino. Nous utilisons la maison très souvent nous-mêmes, ce qui fait que nous laissons nos affaires dans les placards et tiroirs. La maison comporte 3 chambres à coucher, mais nous souhaitons limiter le nombre d'invités à 5. Il y a une chambre principale (grand lit avec salle de bains attenante) une chambre à deux lits et une chambre au RDC grand lit avec salle de bains attenante). Grande terrasse avec BBQ et beau jardin - idéal pour prendre un petit déjeuner ou profiter des derniers rayons du soleil. Il est nécessaire d'avoir une voiture. La maison est à 2 km de la frontière suisse à Jussy - et les bus depuis Monniaz passent surtout aux heures de pointe. Guest access Entire house Entire House
