You’ll love everything about our place from the quiet serene rural country location and views, to the self-contained comfortable queen bed with natural fibre linens and bedding, updated ensuite and mini kitchen. Because our home is along a quiet no exit country road, we usually have a very quiet tranquil location. We love to provide accommodation and share our private outdoor living space with guests. Our place is perfect for couples, solo adventurers, and business travellers. The space Our place is located very centrally to everywhere - just a few minutes drive to Feilding, Palmerston North city, PN Airport, The Gorge Walk and Windfarm, Hiwinui Day Spa, 20 mins to Massey University/DRI/DSIR. Kelvin Grove Woolworth and various excellent fast food shops and restaurants are within 5 minutes drive. Your suite has a wardrobe with drawers for your convenience, complete with coat hangers. You will love the spacious ensuite with shower, vanity and toilet, heated towel rail, heated mirror, excellent lighting over the mirror and heater/extractor fan. Your bedroom looks out over the small lawn towards the inground swimming pool, and the Tararuas are the background feature. The small kitchenette is equipped with a fridge/freezer, and microwave, with utensils, crockery, cutlery, glasses etc. Because the Suite is set up for short stays, there are no cooking facilities, and absolutely no cooking in crockpots/rice cookers/frypans/airfryers allowed. Maximum of 2 people only, no extra people to stay or use facilities. Failure to respect these rules will be mentioned in my review of your stay. Guest access The Guest Suite complete with ensuite bathroom, lawns and small rose garden. Swimming pool and BBQ in summer. Other things to note The peace and quiet is addicting! There is no traffic noise at night, except for the last plane of the night sometime between 10.10pm and 10.50pm. Planes sometimes fly over our property depending on wind direction. If you are used to city noise, you will find it very quiet here. Our lovely quiet road is perfect for walking along. While we can provide you with choices of various cereals, fruit, toast and hot drinks for breakfast if requested (at no extra cost), we regret we cannot cater for people with food allergies, and request you bring your own special cereals or dairy free items etc. There is a fridge/freezer for your exclusive use. Our grey cat (Mickey) roams all over our 2 acre lifestyle block, and is quite sociable.
