Come to the country and have fun "glamping" in our RV Guest House with all the amenities. Connect with a horse by adding on a Horsin' Around Experience or a private riding lesson or two. Enjoy seasonal local foods provided for a self preparation breakfast, and order a local produce box to add more farm to table goodness . Experience our farm and horses, surrounded by an outdoor recreational paradise and family owned wineries and farms in the South Willamette Valley of Oregon. Want to enjoy a little country living and camping with all the comforts of home, the stars overhead, beautiful horses nearby, and delicious Oregon wine choices just minutes away? Our nearly new 28' travel trailer, affectionately known as "Fern," is a great space for a little country living. Fern is set up with all the amenities, including all utilities (electric, water, heat, A/C, Wi-Fi) in a private space with a yard on our farm. It is near our barn and family farmhouse, and fun for a family or friends get away. Comfortable beds for four, dinette, kitchen, and full bathroom. Have fun "glamping," and enjoy all our country area has to offer, including wonderful Oregon wine and nearby farms with fresh seasonal produce. And, we are an easy drive to Eugene and the University of Oregon Ducks or Corvallis and the Oregon State Beavers. Stretch your legs after your journey with a walk in the pasture, pet the horses, and experience farm life in Oregon. We can give you an orientation to Oregon wine and personally introduce you to many of our wonderful local wineries. And we can share lots of information about the local area's arts, culture, farmer's markets, and of course lots of college sports. We participate on the South Willamette Valley Food trail and include a variety of local food items for a self-preparation breakfast. Ask us about ordering a local produce box for a great farm to table addition to your meals. The kitchen in the travel trailer is fully equipped with a nice size frig, three burner stove with oven, and double sink. It also includes a microwave, coffee maker, and toaster. Bottled water, basic condiments and spices, and coffee and tea are provided. There are dishes, kitchen utensils, pots and pans, as well as paper plates, plastic utensils, and plastic cups available for your use. Linens are provided for the beds, including extra blankets and pillows. Towels are provided. If you are traveling with a baby or small child, please bring any other necessary items for your baby or small child's comfort, including items for your baby's personal hygiene. Have a pet? Let's talk. We love pets, but we also have pets, so we have to be careful to protect the health and safety of all our pets. Well behaved pets on approval are welcome, although an extra fee applies for pets. Please note, there is a two night minimum for the travel trailer and a cleaning fee. OTHER OPTIONS/DETAILS Equestrian Activities: For an extra charge, you may add on a Horsin' Around Experience that includes the opportunity to connect with our horses on the ground and learn about their history, safety, grooming, and handling. Private riding lessons are available as well. Both options are suitable for children and adults. Riding lessons available for ages 10 and up. Horse Experience is available for younger children with parental support. Please ask for pricing for these activities. RV Parking: If you are traveling with your own RV or horse trailer with living quarters, we do have RV parking available with hook ups. We do not have a separate listing for our RV parking, but please message us, and we can provide pricing info and details. Traveling with horses? We have clean, safe, covered 12 x 12 horse stalls with bedding available. Access to outdoor arena. Contact us for more information and pricing. Look forward to seeing you in the country. If you would like to tour the farm facilities and stables, please ask us. We're happy to show you around. For your safety, please don't visit the horses in the barn or their pens/pasture without a host present. We can point you in the direction of safe walking areas when horses are not present. We always personally greet our guests and see them off on departure, and we're happy to visit and show you around the farm as well. If you are on a tight schedule or focused on other activities, we understand, and will work to get you in and out efficiently. We are in the country, but very accessible to restaurants, stores and other services. Junction City is just four miles away, a community of about 5,000 people with all the basic services, including service stations, an Urgent Care medical clinic, Post Office, banks, ATM's, hardware store, auto parts, RV Services, Livestock/Pet supplies, and other shopping needs. Eugene and Corvallis are an easy 30 minutes drive, either south or north, on good roads for a wide variety of activities. There are several casual restaurants in nearby Junction City, including Mexican food, American food, BBQ, and oriental food. A very modern Safeway is available on the north end of town with a full selection of groceries and take out food, as well as a fuel station with Diesel. Nearby Eugene to the south and Corvallis to the north offer a wide variety of excellent restaurants, college sports, shopping, music, and the arts. Several nearby produce markets are open daily from late spring through Halloween. Saturday markets are popular in Eugene and Corvallis during the summer months, as well as a holiday market in Eugene. Ten wineries are located within 15 minutes, with most open Friday through Sunday, and some open daily. Wineries in the area have received national recognition for quality wine and beautiful settings. The neighborhood wineries, along with country accommodations in the area are part of the Prairie Mountain Wineries group and the Monroe Hills Wineries group. More wineries can be found through the South Willamette Winery Association and the Heart of Willamette Winery Association. We are located just 4 miles west of Junction City, less than 20 miles from Interstate 5, and convenient to both Eugene and Corvallis. We're 20 minutes from the Eugene Airport, and Lane County bus transportation is available in nearby Junction City. Check our property description description for information on our Horsin' Around Experience and private riding lessons.
