Purbeck stone cottage - sea views from most rooms. Located in a delightful rural village in 'An Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty' and within the Jurassic coast. Wonderful walking area. The sea and coastal path 15 minutes walk - part of the South West Coast Path. Village centre has a pretty duck pond, tea shop and Square and compass - a renowned pub with local ciders and beers. Sandy beach of Swanage - 10 minute drive and the picturesque village of Corfe Castle is a similar distance. The space This lovely cottage, in the idyllic coastal village of Worth Matravers, is built of Purbeck stone and is semi detached. It is a few minutes walk from the village centre with its pretty duck pond, tea shop and public house. The cottage has sea views from most rooms and sleeps 7 in 4 bedrooms. Upstairs there are two double bedrooms with king size beds; one twin room; a fully tiled bathroom with bath, walk in shower and basin plus a separate w.c. On the ground floor there is a single bedroom; a tiled wet room with shower, w.c, and basin; a well equipped fitted kitchen with a fridge freezer, electric cooker & hob, microwave, dishwasher, washing machine; a separate dining room; a spacious sitting room with wood burner, smart tv and large bi-fold doors opening onto a patio with garden furniture. The large fenced and gated garden overlooks fields towards the sea. Travel cot/high chair can be provided. This is a wonderful walking area with footpaths leading directly from the cottage to Swanage, Kingston, Corfe Castle and Kimmeridge. Parking for two cars in the private front drive. Regular bus service within 15 minutes walk to Swanage, Corfe Castle & Wareham. Onward travel to Bournemouth & Poole. Nearest train station is Wareham. December is wonderful time in the nearby village of Corfe Castle. The Christmas lights make it particularly picturesque. Father Christmas and the Christmas lights are turned on 6th December. There is also a decorated Christmas Tree at Purbeck Lodge View Guest access Guests have private use of whole house and garden. Completely self contained.
