The space THE SPACE Daisy at The Big House is a light-filled, 45m² (485 sq. ft.) apartment for two, designed with curated boho-chic interiors and thoughtful details at every turn. Originally built in the early 1800s and lovingly renovated, every room opens onto lake views — including straight from your queen-sized bed. The thick historic stone walls keep the apartment naturally cool in summer, and the indoor candle fireplace makes it irresistibly cozy in winter. THE LIVING ROOM & KITCHEN Two large lake-view windows flood the living room with natural light. Step straight out onto your private terrace from the sofa, or work at the dining table for two — which doubles as a dedicated workspace with fast, stable Wi-Fi (our guests confirm it’s reliable for video calls). The only shared spaces (with 3 other units) is the garden and the common terraces. There are 5 public parking lots in the area (all complimentary), the closest being 3 min walk and the furthest about 8 min walk. NB - during the summer months be aware that it gets busy around here, but between the 5 lots, you should always be able to find a spot for your car. The public boat dock is literally 3 minutes away, down the stairs and during the high-season from April to October the service runs more or less regularly (the best way to travel around the Lake!:) The C130 bus (that goes to both Como town and Bellagio and many other small towns along the way) has a stop just up the stairs on the main road (3-5 min walk up the stairs from Daisy at The Big House).
