Description
5x5m bell tent, at a peaceful campsite site on a working farm in rural Derbyshire. Located right on the edge of the Peak District National Park and 20 minutes' drive from Sheffield or the historic town of Chesterfield. There are several nearby pubs, restaurants and cafes a short drive away. The space Inside the tent you will find a double bed & two single air mattresses, storage box and camping lights. You will need to bring all camping equipment minus the tent (linen, sleeping bags, pillows, cooking equipment, etc.) Outside there is a fire pit, seating area, a hot shower, toilet and mains water supply for guests. Kindling & firewood is available to purchase if you wish to use the fire pit, however do feel free to bring your own if you would prefer! Around the farm, you're likely to see a good deal of agricultural activity, plus the resident cows with their calves. Getting around and about off-base is easy too, as the farm is well-connected to local footpaths and cycle routes in the national park. This is the perfect place to get off the grid and reconnect with nature. There is no WiFi or electric. Other things to note This is a small campsite, guests are asked to keep their noise to a minimum after 9:30pm. Please bring all camping equipment minus the tent (linen, sleeping bags, pillows, cooking equipment, etc.) as not provided. This is a self catering property, with a supermarket 10 minutes drive away. No smoking in the tent. No dogs allowed.
