This cozy cottage is a relaxing getaway in the Northern Neck of Virginia, surrounded by the Potomac River, Rappahannock River, and Chesapeake Bay. The home offers lots of original charm, two screened-in porches, a fire pit, private water access, beautiful sunsets, and more! Come sip your favorite drink on the dock, shuck oysters, and watch the beautiful sunsets on the water. The space Originally a fisherman’s cottage, this beautiful home sits on the water and boasts lots of charm! This cozy space is filled with original wood flooring, ceilings, and beams. Two queen bedrooms and a full bathroom on the main floor, and a king bedroom with a full bathroom in the upstairs en-suite. Two screened-in porches to enjoy the outdoors, a fire-pit with Adirondack chairs, and a private dock to enjoy the scenic views. Welcome to Ivey Creek Cottage! Guest access Guests can access the entire home except for any locked storage closets. Guests can also access the private dock, which is perfect for a glass of wine at sunset! Other things to note Two kayaks are available for guest use (at guest’s risk). Outdoor firepit available for use. Sorry, no pets allowed. Not suitable for children. There is a TV available with Apple TV, Netflix, etc., but no cable options. High-speed Wi-Fi internet is available. The river is brackish, meaning some salt water exists. There may be jellyfish and other marine life present in the water depending on the time of year. Do not park or drive on the grass. Absolutely no parties or large gatherings. Guests should not exceed the total listed in your reservation (6 guests maximum) The upstairs en-suite is accessed through a separate outdoor entrance utilizing the stairs. Guests can purchase small bundles of firewood in town.
