Wonderful get-away on High Rock lake with great lake frontage, private dock, and gorgeous views. Perfect for swimming, kayaking, fishing, and relaxing. Well-behaved dogs welcome! Plenty of sun and shade areas - nice and relaxing. Less than an hour from Greensboro and Charlotte. The space Indoors: Fully equipped home with grill, well-stocked kitchen, washer, dryer, etc. Two bedrooms have a queen, the 3rd bedroom has twin beds, and there is a futon in the living area. Master bedroom has an en-suite full bath. The open kitchen and living area has floor to ceiling windows offering great views out to the lake and is a comfortable spot to cook and relax with family and friends when not enjoying the outdoors. Outdoors: Located on Panther creek, which feeds into High Rock’s main channel, the house has deep water year round - great for swimming and boating, and is directly across from Eagle Point Nature Reserve, which means views of water and trees (and lots of birds). There is both an open and covered deck with a grill, and seating overlooking the lake. Kayaks, a paddle board, and lifejackets are available for guest usage. Dock has a fishing license so anyone can fish, chairs, umbrella, and dock ladder (for easy lake entry/exit). Boat launch is available for your boat or PWC. Everything you need for a perfect lake getaway. Available “lake” amenities for use by guests: Deck chairs and umbrella or pop up 8X8 tent Grill (gas) Firepit and firewood Cornhole boards 3 kayaks and 1 stand up paddle board (available to borrow from owners next door), fishing kayak Life jackets Beach towels The owners live next door and have two friendly, well-behaved dogs on the property. Guest access Entire house/pier is for guests. Other things to note Dogs welcome but please do not allow on furniture or beds. We have 2 very friendly dogs. Small boat house with kayaks available. NOTE: Ramp can be very slippery due to algae growth - shoes advised.
