Leavitt - Decadent Italian restaurant with expansive menu, charming back patio, and excellent service. Many food options available from traditional pasta dishes to higher end meats and seafood. Rez recommended. Marz Community Tap Room - 1950 n. Western - Satellite tap room of renowned Chicago brewery with an ever rotating selection of funky experimental beers that are usually pretty good. Chefs Special - 2165 n. Western - Super hip cocktail bar that happens to serve Chinese food as well. Sit at the wraparound bar and take it all in over a drink and food. Also pretty decent takeout. Irazu - 1865 n. Milwaukee - Costa Rican spot with some of the tastiest cheap eats in the hood. Couple of burritos and empanadas will be <$40. Charleston Bar - 2076 n. Hoyne - Picturesque neighborhood bar with some of the most reasonably priced cocktails on the northside. Wait for the sun to go down and head over to hopefully snag the corner window booth Margies Candies -1960 n. Western - Classic ice cream soda fountain shop. Perfect for a hot summer night or an after dinner treat. Ramen Wasabi - 2101 n. Milwaukee - Top tier ramen place in the city. Cozy bar area with decent mixed drinks and outdoor eating area.
