Enjoy your morning coffee on the large deck entertained by visiting swans, geese, ducks and Blue Herons. Spend your days fishing, boating or discovering the local community. Fall provides spectacular views of colorful leaves and the local wine festival. Maple Lake is a 172-acre, mile-long all-sports lake just 2 hours from Chicago or Detroit, with easy access from I-94. Just 40 min. to Lake MI. The space The cottage offers full kitchen, bathroom, living room, bedroom with a queen bed, and a loft (intended for guests over 5 years old) with two twin beds. Please note that the loft is accessed by a pull-down ladder and has low headroom. Can provide a referral for pontoon rental. Guest access Kayaks are provided or bring your own boat and tie up to our dock. Fire pit and dock are yours to enjoy. Other things to note Even though you aren’t likely to spend a lot of time inside, WIFI and a smart TV are included. Family games and puzzles are also provided for your enjoyment. The area offers public boat launch, island park, wineries, brewery, dining and shopping all within a mile or two. Live music is scheduled ever Summer Sunday evening at the lake-side pavilion accessible by foot or boat.
