The space The home is available for short-term or long-term stays - especially great for those traveling for work or internships. You will have your own separate private entrance to come and go. This is the downstairs, private unit of a two-unit semi-duplex. The upstairs and downstairs do not have access to each other and are private units. Located in the U Street/Columbia Heights neighborhood, the home is in a located in a friendly, quiet residential street within minutes walking to restaurants, shops, and bars. Great location for a mixture of residential and city living. Close by is U Street, Columbia Heights & Petworth restaurants, bars, coffee shops, breweries, farmers markets, and yoga studio. Guest access This is the downstairs, private unit of a two-unit semi-duplex. The upstairs and downstairs do not have access to each other and are private units. Guests access the studio from a private entrance. Street parking is available and must be requested at least 7 days before arrival. Note - there is a ring doorbell that includes a security camera. The only time the studio is accessed is when the cleaners come for long-term guests and if there is an issue that you require in person attention to. Please note - due to it being a basement unit, as in any basement you will hear some noises from the above units at times. Other things to note There is also street parking in front of the house that requires a pass you must request at least 1 week prior to stay. There is a strict no smoking and no party rule. In addition, unfortunately the property does not allow pets. Please notify of additional guests visiting. You must have a peleton account to hook up to the bike and bring your own shoes. They are not provided. The heating and cooling system is controlled throughout the unit. To adjust the temperature you will send a text. For long-term guests (stays longer than 2 weeks) we do not provide paper products, soap, trash bags, etc. unless requested. Due to COVID-19 we are providing bath products and coffee upon request.
