Cozy Fall Getaway, Dog Friendly

Enjoy a cozy, dog-friendly stay just a 2-minute walk from Riva bar, creamery & restaurant, the town beach and historic town boardwalk! Relax in the inviting living area with a large TV, books, and games, cook in the full kitchen, or unwind on the spacious back deck overlooking the fenced yard. You're a short drive from downtown New Haven or Milford’s dining, music, and museums—and don’t miss Connecticut’s charming fall and winter festivals happening nearby through the end of the year! The space Our home away from home has a little bit of everything to make your stay confortable! The kitchen is stocked with a variety of pots, pans and utensils for those who enjoy eating-in while traveling. Basic spices and oil spray are also readily available. Ground coffee is available for the drip coffee pot as well as assorted sugars and (powder) creamer. Doggy bowls are also available for when your pup is traveling with you! The living room has an eclectic bookshelf, game cabinet, and a smart TV with wifi access (cable tv is not available). We also have a waterproof doggy blanket so everyone can enjoy the furniture stress-free! We have stocked a portacrib, baby monitor, baby/pet gate, booster seat, basic stroller, and a few assorted toys to make travel with the kids a bit easier! Guest access Our home is available for private use including the fully fenced front and back yards as well as an oversized deck with grill for guest use! As a reminder we cannot currently permit the hosting of events with those outside of your reservation. All guests attending must be declared on your reservation. Please note the property is only accessible by stairs via the front porch or from the back yard deck steps. Other things to note This home is in a unique location near the Morse Park (baseball fields, skate park, basketball court), the west haven bird sanctuary, the boardwalk and quick access to the water for fishing, walks, bike rides, and fun on the beach! Although this is a great location in the summer, we find the walk on the boardwalk and beach fun to do all year long. The area is a quiet residential neighborhood, perfect for a getaway any time of the year. Please note we do require a photo ID sent via the Airbnb app for identity verification at check in. This ID is not stored outside of the app and is for identity verification and to prevent fraudulent use of the property.
