Retro Side Garden Suite (private entrance)
Description
Welcome to our Retro Side Garden Suite in the heart of St. Petersburg, FL—a cozy retreat designed with your comfort and relaxation in mind. Centrally located, just a mins from downtown, Salvador Dali Museum, restaurants, bars and a few minutes from the beaches. This suite includes a PRIVATE entrance, one bedroom, bathroom, and kitchenette, perfect for travelers seeking a serene (and fun!) getaway. The only shared space is the garden where you can enjoy your morning coffee or a bonfire. The space Since opening our doors two years ago, we've been honored to receive glowing reviews from 100+ guests, who love the location, comfort, and retro charm of the Jungalow. We can't wait to host you! What to Expect:The Jungalow is a private room located within a charming 1940s home. While it has its own private entrance, there is a door connecting to the main home, which remains locked and inaccessible during your stay. Because this is a private room in a vintage house, you might occasionally hear muffled footsteps, conversations, or typical household noises. Rest assured, we prioritize your peace and won't host loud gatherings or play loud music, but we want you to feel informed and comfortable about the setup. Thoughtful Amenities: We created this Airbnb with a touch of luxury, because we believe everyone deserves a special experience. Here's what you'll find: - A spacious bedroom with a cozy reading chair and small sitting area. - A keurig machine for your morning coffee ritual. - LaCroix stocked in the fridge upon check-in to refresh your day! - Fully stocked toiletries so you don't have to run out to the store if you forgot something - Private off-street parking (free) - Access to your private outdoor patio, where you can relax in the fresh Florida air or unwind by the fire pit under the stars. Explore St. Pete: St. Petersburg is thriving with vibrant energy, and the Jungalow places you near the action. Think: The iconic St. Pete Pier, the Sunken Gardens, art, music, and everything in between. It's all just a few minutes from us. , Don't forget to check out the Museum of the American Arts and Crafts Movement or enjoy a sunset at one of our world-class beaches, just 15-minutes away! The Jungalow Suite is your cozy retreat, perfect for enjoying the best of St. Pete while relaxing in comfort. We can't wait to host you and make your stay truly memorable! Guest access You will have access to a large guest suite with a private entrance. This includes a kitchenette, desk space, sitting area, full (private) bathroom, queen size bed with TV. The outdoor garden space is shared, though we are very thoughtful about sharing the space with you! During your stay We've been hosting guests since 2022, what we've learned is that everyone is different. If you need anything at all, we'll be here to answer any and all questions about the suite and St. Pete. But otherwise, you won't notice us. This unit is attached to the main home, but you will not have access to the main home (and we will not have access to your suite!). Other things to note - This is a private room within a house, so you might—from time to time—hear conversations, footsteps, or other house noises during your stay. We won't play loud music or be having any big parties, but it's important that you understand that this is a private room and therefore you might hear us. - There is central AC in the home, which you will not be able to adjust. However there is a great (seriously, it's really nice!) window AC unit in the Jungalow that you will have control of. - This is a 1940s home in the heart of Florida. We work very hard to keep the suite as clean as possible. During unusually warm weather in the winter and rain in the Summer, a bug might sneak in. (i.e.: Spiders, palmetto bugs, ants or even a bee). None of these bugs are harmful and we are happy to remove them, vacuum, and call an extermination company if something has snuck in. Despite being just a couple minutes from downtown, there is also wildlife such as coyotes, opossums, raccoons, squirrels, and others. Most of these wildlife are never seen but an occasional spotting is possible. - Old houses like this one are undoubtedly charming, but they can also come with their own set of quirks and challenges. Though we've done our very best to restore, respect, and maintain the home, it is still a very old home , so we ask that you have some patience with its quirks, it's been around the block! - We require all guests to have a profile picture of their face. Not your pet, not your house, not your favorite vacation. - We require both guests to be over 18. No exceptions. PETS: - This is a pet friendly property! After someone with pets stays in the Jungalow, our cleaners do a very deep clean, however if you have very severe allergies, this might not be the right place for you. - Please also note that we have two kittens in the main home. If your dog is very reactive to other animals, we ask that you consider that before booking a stay with your pet. - We kindly ask that you do not leave your pet alone in the backyard and that you clean up after your animal. - Pet fee is $70 and charged through Airbnb app
