The space 1880 Modern Bungalow is a fully furnished modern but historic home in the Historic South Park District. Built in 1880 this newly renovated and revamped home is located on one of the best streets in this trendy and upcoming neighborhood. Throughout the house, you will find all the amenities you might need - big and small. Let us know if there is something else, we can provide for you! When you enter the home, you will walk into an open living and kitchen setup that houses a cozy couch and a midcentury modern accent chair facing a brand new 42” smart TV equipped with Netflix and HBO. The interior design of the home was spared no expense to detail, making sure that it is a home that we, as your hosts, would happily live in ourselves! The open kitchen offers a brand-new experience open to the living room with granite countertops, subway tile backsplash, stainless steel appliances and dish and cookware for your use. Enjoy an open kitchen with eat-in bar that can double as a workspace furnished with USB outlets. The warmth of the stone chimney, the rustic original wood spice shelf, and brand new soft close custom cabinets topped with luxurious granite. All stainless appliances, gas stove, and an amazingly warm feel. Wood flooring throughout and 12 + foot ceilings give a feel of openness. Enter the extra wide hallway added to the home, which was once a shotgun style, to discover the 2 bathrooms and 2 bedrooms in the rear of this one-of-a-kind stay. The main bathroom has custom tile and fine selections of fixtures. The first bedroom has the original build-in closet/wall cabinet stocked with extra blankets, luggage racks and hangers for guests’ clothes. The master bedroom has an adjoined ensuite full bathroom with a double vanity and custom tile shower. The spa-like bathrooms offer premium comfort towels and washcloths, to go along with complimentary soaps/face cleanser to bring relaxation to all guests. Hairdryer, cotton balls, Q-tips and a first aid kit are also available if need be. Both bedrooms have queen beds with new Nectar mattresses and a selection of both firm and soft pillows that will provide premium comfort for a premium sleep. Quality bedding and sheets, both of which will have you sleeping like a baby. Both bedrooms have remote operated ceiling fans and reading lights for your comfort. Lastly, in the rear of the home tucked away you will also find the laundry room equipped with a smart LG washer and dryer tower where detergent and dryer sheets are provided. A full-size ironing board, iron and starch are also available. To top it all off, there is also a rear yard that makes for the perfect setting to close out a spring, summer, or fall night which is very private. Located right in the middle of park where you can enjoy the boulevard from the newly stamped porch with custom awning. South Park has many incredible places to eat and visit within walking distance. There are coffee shops, a wine bar, dining, and a brewery located right in the neighborhood. The charming neighborhood include gorgeous, completely one-of-a-kind historic homes. It's a perfect place to take a walk around the neighborhood and/or park all while be welcomed to the community by the amazing and friendly neighbors of South Park! Close to downtown, Oregon District and walking distance to Blommel Park, University of Dayton, Miami Valley Hospital, Brown Street for shopping, bars and dining. Guest access Guests will have full access to the entire house and property (except the basement) and all the amenities. Please make yourself at home. We believe a short-term rental should include the comforts of home, like a fully stocked kitchen, which is especially helpful if you are staying for a few days or longer. We encourage and invite you to enjoy and use the kitchen. We have included all of the necessary amenities, but please let us know if we are missing anything. Includes basic items such as a toaster, microwave, fully stocked Keurig (coffee, tea, creamer, sugar), salt/pepper and cooking oil. New soft close custom cabinets are stocked with dishes, bake and cookware and all the utensils and tools you may need to prepare a meal. Other things to note We will send detailed check in/check out instructions prior to your arrival. This will include your keyless entry code for the smart door lock, address and parking information. On-street parking is available at no fee to guests, with plenty of spaces typically available in front of the house or very close by. Please be advised that unfortunately we NO LONGER ACCEPT LOCAL GUESTS due to property misuse. Sorry for the inconvenience, but If you live in Dayton or nearby please do not book with us.
