This renovated lakefront cottage is cozy peaceful retreat away from the city. Just 1.25 hours drive or train. Situated on Putnam lake in upstate NY, a quiet lake community on the NY/CT border. The space is small but there are 2 bedrooms and sleeps up to 4. The master bedroom has views of the lake, where you can see gorgeous sunrises from bed. 2nd bedroom has a trundle bed. The yard is a good size with a table, fire pit and grill but a new well was recently dug so only part of the yard is usable. It’s a small cottage, about 550 sq ft. It’s on a small, one way street in a sort of rural. It’s an old house but have been recently updated, there’s still work to be done but safe to live in. The whole space I will be around to answer any questions but do not live close by so don’t lose your key. Quiet residential lake community It’s best if you had a car. Parking is everywhere. If no car, there are only a few places within walking distance Only small dogs allowed. Pet fee is an extra $75
