Description
The Granary is a 2 bedroom converted barn in the village of Eastling, located in the North Downs Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. It is 4 miles from the pretty market town of Faversham and a 20min drive from Canterbury. It boasts very spacious self contained accommodation with two king size beds and two bathrooms. The space The property is self contained with a path leading to the entrance door to the right hand side of the building. You will then enter the kitchen/dining area which is fully equipped, including electric hob and oven, microwave, toaster and kettle. In addition there is a washing machine. There is also hanging space for coats and shoe storage. Bedroom 2 is through a door on the right hand side of this area and has a king size bed as well as 2 armchairs and a smart TV. There are doors from here opening out onto the patio area. Also accessed from the kitchen/dining area is the downstairs bathroom with toilet, sink and walk in shower. There is a wood and glass staircase leading to the first floor where you will find a large bedroom with king size bed, smart TV and chests of drawers. A Juliette balcony looks out over farmland. On the opposite side of the landing is a further bathroom with sink, toilet, bidet and bath with shower. The property shares a path and drive with the main house where the hosts reside. There is a patio area at the rear of The Granary for guests to use with an outdoor table, parasol and 4 chairs. An EV charger is available to use by arrangement and will incur additional charges. This property is best suited to those with their own transport as public transport is limited. However, if travelling by train and then taxi, Faversham is the best rail station as there is access to taxis which are not readily available at Lenham. Guest access All of the Granary is accessible to guests with the exception of 1 cupboard sited within the upstairs bathroom. Other things to note Small to medium size dogs are welcome but we would ask you to keep them off the furniture and beds. Please don’t leave your dogs alone in the property as they may become distressed in unfamiliar surroundings. Faversham has a number of good sized supermarkets and shops for groceries. If travelling from the M20, there is a Co-op convenience store in Harrietsham, just off the the A20 or in Lenham village. There is no local shop in Eastling itself.
