But if you'd rather stay home, the plethora of amenities here will keep you plenty entertained. Step into the home and you'll find high vaulted ceilings, features including wood and stone accents inspired by the natural surroundings, comfortable furnishings, and farmhouse themed decor. Kick off your shoes and relax into either of the living area's couches for an afternoon movie on the wall-mounted 55-inch flatscreen smart TV or sit around the kitchen table and play a hand of cribbage or skip-bo. Walk out the back door to find a spacious outdoor deck offering even more relaxing options. Feast your eyes on sweeping wilderness views while you chill on the newly updated deck or take a dip in the outdoor hot tub. Or relax with a cup of tea or wine and watch our resident hummingbirds “Moe, Larry and Curly” delight you with their whimsical antics. We have a family of 12-16 deer that roam the area most of the day and into dusk. Please be extremely careful when driving in the area. We are 2.5 miles from the local hospital, 3 miles from a boat docking area that will get you into the Hiawassee River. Downtown Murphy has several restaurants ranging from Italian food at Perrone's Italian Cafe to Mexican fare.
