Mawheraiti Cottage a secluded hideaway!

Mawheraiti is more than just accommodation it’s a destination. Mawheraiti is a 1400 hectare working farm with native forests/bush and private fishing holes. The farm backs on to the Paparoa National Park so the views are always amazing. 15 minutes up the road is the quant town of Reefton with outstanding mountain bike tracks catering for every level and Little Biddy Gin distillery for those who aren’t as active. 5 minutes up the road is one of a few gold prospecting areas you can pan for gold. The space The cottage is a very comfortable 3 bedroom cottage with a log burner and a heat pump. Dishwasher and a washing machine is available too. A latest addition is a new wood burning hot tub. We are always available just down the road but you won’t see anyone else except of course maybe a cheeky Weka. We don’t charge a cleaning fee, it’s all part of our service. Guest access We want to share with you our farm so please explore but be mindful of all the waterways and please always shut the gate behind you.
