Street parking is also available alongside the property. Green Mountain Lodge sits in the gated, four-season Massanutten Resort, offering easy access to resort activities. Please note: renting the home does not include free resort amenity passes. Other things to note This home is located inside Massanutten Resort, which offers endless activities: skiing, tubing, ice skating, two golf courses, an indoor/outdoor water park, tennis, mountain biking, ziplining, mini golf, go-karts, fishing, hiking, horseback riding, a spa, and more. Most resort activities are available to guests for an additional fee and should be booked online through Massanutten Resort’s website before arrival. You may experience resort capacity restrictions, activities can sell out, especially on weekends and holidays. Please note we cannot guarantee availability, and amenity closures or limited access are not grounds for a refund. The Massanutten indoor/outdoor water park can be booked online. Other resort pools are dedicated to specific timeshare areas and are not accessible with this rental. Refunds will not be issued for sold-out or closed resort activities, or for weather or road conditions. You’ll be about 15 miles from downtown Harrisonburg and James Madison University—perfect for exploring local restaurants, shops, and museums. The Shenandoah Valley also offers caverns, wineries, and breweries. Shenandoah River access is just 10 miles away for tubing and kayaking in warmer months. The Swift Run Gap entrance to Shenandoah National Park, Skyline Drive, and the Appalachian Trail is only 15 miles away, offering excellent hiking for all levels. Charlottesville is roughly 1 hour and 15 minutes from the lodge. Please note: this home is nestled in the mountains and woods, so you may see local wildlife like deer and other furry visitors. Drive carefully, especially at night. You’ll also encounter insects—keep doors and windows closed, especially at night, as lights attract them.
