The space Our modern one-bedroom Casita is a comfortable, single-level beach home designed for relaxed extended stays in Playa del Coco, just 300 meters from the beach. The bedroom features a queen-size bed, its own smart TV with local cable, and a door separating the living and sleeping areas for added privacy. The ensuite bathroom is located within the bedroom (no separate hallway door). The living area includes a second smart TV, comfortable seating, strong Wi-Fi, and a dedicated workspace with desk and chair — ideal for remote work or longer stays. The kitchen offers granite countertops, refrigerator/freezer, blender, toaster oven, coffee maker, and essential cookware for preparing meals at home. The Casita has its own private entrance. The backyard is shared with the main Casa Claudia home and features tropical greenery and outdoor space to enjoy. Guest access Guests have access to the outdoor shower at Casa Claudia. Other things to note Casita Claudia is located next to Casa Claudia, a separate two-bedroom home. This makes the property ideal for families or friends traveling together who wish to stay nearby while maintaining their own private space. Each home has its own private entrance. The property is located in a tropical beach setting surrounded by lush greenery. Guests often hear the ocean in the distance and may see iguanas, hummingbirds, and occasionally hear howler monkeys. As with most homes in Costa Rica’s coastal jungle environment, insects such as ants or beetles may occasionally appear. Regular maintenance is performed, but nature is part of the experience. Exterior Ring security cameras are installed at the front of the property and facing the shared yard. These cameras record motion for safety and property protection only. There are no cameras inside the home or in any private interior spaces. Filtered drinking water is available from the kitchen sink.
