Destination Crestone

Experience the real Crestone lifestyle here in our amazing, custom made steel build home, right at the foot of the Sangre De Cristos Mountain Range. A trip you won’t forget! With 23 foot ceilings and incredible views we are 20 feet from Willow Creek Hiking Trail which leads to Willow Lake, close to the hot springs, Great Sand Dunes National Park and our world famous Dark Skies National Forrest. 5 minutes to downtown Crestone, shops and restaurants. Star gazing equipment, sauna, and more! The space Very spacious 4 bedrooms, each with a queen size bed, non-cluttered, lots of natural light- this beautiful home feels open, and inviting. (Additional sleeping options include a couch/sleeper for one (in the living room) and a queen size air mattress (upstairs bedroom closet) in case you have extra guests.) This is a great place for multiple families, business groups, education/research trips and outdoor enthusiasts. Guest access This whole house is open for your use, families with children- please do be cautious due to the style of the home. As far as pets, they are welcome with the $50 pet fee (each additional pet is $25 extra for cleaning fees to be left upon checkout or at some point during the stay) we ask that you please do not allow them on the furniture or beds- we have pet beds and bowls available for use. As far as parties and get togethers, through airbnbs policy they are technically not allowed. This is a quiet neighborhood and we are considerate of the local neighbors that live and work here. This house is designed for small, quiet family gatherings and get togethers and business trips. Not for loud parties. Downtown has great places to gather, check out live music, have food/drinks and support our local businesses. Quiet hours begin at the house from 10pm-8am, thank you for respecting these house rules, we appreciate it! This is a sacred place and we’d like to keep it that way. Other things to note There are two grocery stores in town (Crestone Merchantile and Elephant Cloud Market) the local restaurant- Our Food is Art, and T-Road Brewery. The closest hot springs are Joyful Journey, Great Sand Dunes Pool and Valley View Hot Springs. We also have great references for local services like massage, photographers and event organizers, just ask! Other things to note: There is an outdoor security camera on the driveway. This is for the safety of the home and this is the only camera on property. It is outside viewing the parking area. Guests visiting in summer please note: The Crestone area typically has mosquitos in mid-late June, July and sometimes into August. If the winter snowpack is low, they may not show up at all. It’s getting harder to predict Crestone mosquitos these days, so keep in mind the cancellation policy parameters. Repellent is provided and guests are advised to bring long-sleeved shirts, long pants, hats and repellent. This is just a seasonal precaution. To note for the winter season: Snowfall is generally low, as the valley and sunshine melt the snow on the roads quickly. Temperatures can get low, so plan ahead and make sure to bring proper winter gear for the colder season here in Colorado. This will make your trip much more comfortable!
