Nestled in the historic West Boulevard Neighborhood, this cozy basement apartment is blocks from downtown Rapid City. This charming Craftsman style home was built in 1928 and includes one off-street parking space. The basement apartment has a private entrance, combined living/dining layout with one bedroom and a full size sleeper sofa that can accommodate up to 4 guests. Six blocks from Main St. and near Dinosaur Park. Let this be your home while you explore the Black Hills or hit the rally! The space Nearly 600sq ft, one bedroom basement apartment. Centrally located in Rapid City, one block from Black Hills Bagels, near Dinosaur Park, and within walking distance to downtown shops, restaurants, library, YMCA, art museum, The Monument event center, and parks. Living Room: Spacious living/dining room, with a full size sofa-bed and dining table for 4. Sofa-bed mattress was replaced with memory foam mattress July 2022. Kitchenette: Mini fridge, microwave, sink, coffee maker, and set of dishes, cups, and utensils. Some cleaning products provided. NO freezer, NO stove. Bedroom: Private bedroom (with own door), queen bed fitted with microfiber sheets, comforters, extra pillows, etc. Mattresses have allergen covers. One small dresser and closet with hangers, iron, and ironing board. Bathroom: Bathroom with small standup corner shower. Shampoo, conditioner, and cotton towels and wash clothes. NO tub. TV: 55-inch UHD 4K Roku TV with free streaming channels. Login to your own streaming apps. NO live-TV package. WiFi: High speed gigabit (1 Gbps) business service. Comfort: Central A/C for the entire house keeps the basement cool at all times. There is no zone-control in the guest suite. Cove heat and portable heater provides temperature control if it gets too cold. Cleaning: We are OCD when it comes to cleaning; your guest space will be neat and sanitized upon your arrival. If you need your trash emptied during your stay, just let us know or feel free to use our city trash and recycling cans yourselves! Parking: 1 off street parking space. Plenty of street parking available in front of residence. Please remove shoes while in the suite. Must be able to climb stairs. During your stay we live in the upper half of the home. We respect your privacy but can be available for assistance when you need it. While we are respectful of our guests, we are an active family with children and a dog; you may hear some of our activity and the occasional dog bark. CHECKOUT INSTRUCTIONS: Checkout is 11:00 AM. Please leave dirty dishes in sink so they can be sanitized. You DO NOT have to strip the bed... we will do that for you! Safe travels! Guest access Some closets are locked-out for owner/maintenance storage. Other things to note Family lives upstairs with 1 dog. No pets allowed in suite. Low-ceilings (6') at unit entry and at bedroom entry. Child-safe Tamper resistant outlets. No freezer. No stove. No bathtub. No washer / dryer. No printer. No live-TV package (login to your streaming apps).
