Description

Come stay at our small homestead in this 1974 Airstream. This cute, clean camper is set next to our paddock with ducks, chickens, a few roosters (they will crow a lot), sometimes goats/horses, and our large dogs (they will bark). We are in the county, so we have a slightly rural feel and are a short haul from downtown (13 mi.) and the airport (17 mi.). Beautiful walk to the river (1 mi.). Come and go as you please. This is NOT a luxurious, quiet retreat, but it is a safe, unique and happy one! The space This camper's bones are all original, fridge, shower, closets, with a few modern improvements, including new toilet. Beds are new and comfortable. There are two twin beds which could fit two people each if they snuggle. The kitchen stove does NOT function, but there is a microwave and some really good restaurants nearby. Hot water tank is small, and the shower does work for a hot and VERY quick rinse. If you need a good long shower, this is not the place for you. The camper is set right next to our farm animals, so you WILL hear roosters and chickens. We also have a few really big and barky dogs. I'll need to walk by your camper to feed hay every morning, but I'll be quiet. We're a lively little family and farm. If this bothers you or you need perfect quiet and clean (it’s the desert so it’s dusty), this is not the place for you. That said, it is rural out here and does not feel like the city. The river is one mile from us and a beautiful walk along the ditch bank to get there. The mountain views are gorgeous. Great walk around the block from 1/2 mile to 3. One of the city's most famous restaurant's, El Pinto, is within walking distance, especially after a few margaritas. We are PERFECTLY situation for Balloon Fiesta. It is a 2.5 mile easy walk or bike ride to the park. Balloons often float right over the house. Magical. Other things to note Parking is under the tree by the camper. Keypad code will be sent after booking.
