We welcome you to our newly built Gambian home in Brufut. Close to the beach, not far from the nightlife of Senegambia, you'll love coming back to your private compound with 3 bedrooms, 3.5 baths, full kitchen, second kitchen for cooking large meals, and pool, our house is the perfect spot to rest at night after your daily travels out and about! We can also help you set up a personal cook/house cleaner for your stay. The space **READ ENTIRE DESCRIPTION AND HOUSE RULES BEFORE BOOKING, PLEASE WRITE WITH QUESTIONS** 3 bedroom with en suite bathrooms, and an extra half bathroom in the house. Two of the three bedrooms has it's own A/C unit, along with one in the living room and one in the kitchen. The last bedroom is in the back of the house and does not have an a/c but does have a fan. The space also has a living room with 75" flat screen TV with local channels and streaming services, dining/kitchen and second kitchen. Our house has a large front porch, space for 2 cars of your own inside the premises, and is fully fenced in. We have a second building on the property where two family members live (who manage the house) along with our 24 hour security person. The pool is secluded in the back by a secondary wall for privacy, with it's own separate door for entry that can be locked from the inside. It can also be accessed from the back door of the house. There are outside showers for the pool area, as well. Every guest will be provided with a 1,000GMD electricty credit, and when the power is finished you will add it yourself. The onsite Manager can answer all questions and assist with where to obtain credit for the electricity. We have a battery back-up system that will kick on if the power is out (but some things are limited that can run on it). If you have any troubles, we have someone there to help you, on property. If you prefer not to use the battery (as it does pull from the cash power system to charge), we can turn this off for your stay upon request. While we do have internet, as it is Gambia it is not always reliable, so please keep this in mind. The television has local antenna channels. We offer airport pick-up and drop-off FOR $30. Please let us know you'd like this service at booking and we'll assist you. We have a House Assistant who will come to clean the home twice a week, unless you prefer not to have this service. She can also be hired for cooking local Gambian cuisine on a daily basis. As our house does not have a washer or dryer, if you need laundry service we can arrange that for you with our House Assistant, as well, for a charge of $10 per load. We do have a laundry line on the premises so your clothes can be freshly air dried. We also are proud to offer an on-hands local Gambian cooking class in our home that includes going to the market to shop for the meal. Additionlly, if you'd like a local guide, our Property Managers are well versed in the are and are happy to assist, and can be hired to take you around for a day of exploring. ACCESS: Our home is in a community, if you are looking to stay at the more toristy area, we highly recommend for you to look at other properties closer to SENEGAMBIA. it takes about 20 minutes drive to the tourist area and taxi service can be arrange for you. Guest access There are two rooms in the house that are closed off to guest access as these are personal spaces of the owner. The guest will also not access the second building. The ice maker and water tap on the refrigerator are not useable. We do not allow pets on the premises due to an owner allergy.
