It has a lawn for outdoor sitting and recreational activities. Cottage has a Indoor fireplace to keep you warm and cozy on beautiful winter days, big Venetian windows, and high ceiling with skylight to ensure you have uninterrupted view of snow capped mountains from all corners of the house with ample sunlight, and fresh air. The cottage has a wooden staircase leading to the area from where you can get a spectacular view of the Himalayas and the Garur valley. The surrounding lush green forest adds to the tranquility of the overall experience. Food Arrangements : To make your stay enjoyable and carefree we have a dedicated cook and a house help to assist you with your food requirements. We have separate kitchens to cook veg and non-veg. At Tathastu you can enjoy your day relaxing in the lap of nature in peace and serenity and if you are lucky you can also spot some rare birds and wild animals nearby. Darkness at night here is something to enjoy, you can gaze the stars in the clear sky, free from light pollution, and call it a day. The cottage is very well connected by road with dedicated parking for the cottage and all basic amenities needed to enjoy a comfortable stay. Pick your preferred snacks, drinks etc (if any) on the way as the nearest market is 3 kms from the cottage. B. Use power hungry appliance like room heater, geysers etc judiciously, please don’t switch on all appliances at once. C. Avoid lighting fireplace by yourself, caretaker can do it for you if needed (wood will be charged additionally). D. Please avoid smoking inside the house as it is a wooden cottage. E. Do not leave premises in the dark to avoid any confrontation with animals. F. Free the caretaker by 10:00 PM at night, so that he gets rest to host you the next day. G. Kausani is a small town, get yours/kids essential supplies, medications with you. How to reach: The cottage is very well connected by road with dedicated parking. To reach the property, guests are advised to reach Kausani market ,locate SBI ATM (if coming via Someshwar), then move 40 metres ahead to see Kausani shawl house, after crossing Kausani Shawl house and just before the forest department checking barrier, there is a road going towards left (called as Bhatariya Road), take this road and on 4.5 kms you will find the cottage. Activities to Do: Enjoying wide Himalayan View (300 kms): Depending on the time and weather, you can enjoy mighty Trishul, Panchachuli, Nanda Devi, Nanda kot, Chaukhamba and many other peaks right from the cottage lawn and from the room windows. Bird Watching: Abhyuday is surrounded by lush Oak forest and you will be able to see different types of birds. Depending on the time you are visiting, you can also spot some rare types. Meditation and Yoga: You can enjoy Yoga or meditation looking at the Himalayas and hearing to birds chirping. Hiking and Walking Trails: You can take your morning walks towards the left or right of the property and walk in the nature enjoying Himalayan view (depending on time you are visiting and weather) Stargazing: Darkness at night here is something to enjoy, you can gaze the stars in the clear sky, free from light pollution, and call it a day.
