Welcome to the newly rebuilt Bison Bungalow, fully rebuilt after our tragic house fire! Set on a 125-acre working bison ranch, our spacious suite lets you see these majestic animals up close and personal. Upgraded using guest feedback, the new space features 3 bedrooms, 7 beds, and 2 full bathrooms—perfect for families and groups. Plus, enjoy the convenience of an in-unit washer and dryer. Just 10 mins from Lava Hot Springs, enjoy absolute peace and quiet, with quick access to local adventure! The space • The Bison Bungalow is a basement suite that includes an open and spacious living room and dining room with a fully equipped kitchen that is excellent for spending time together with the whole family. The owners live on the upper main floor. • Pull out couch for in the living room. • Bedroom 1 consists of a queen size bed with a memory foam mattress topper. • Bedroom 2 consists of a queen bed with a memory foam mattress. • Bedroom 3 consists of two sets of twin size bunk beds. • Each bedroom has its own dresser and closet. • Each bathroom includes a tub and a shower. • The patio has 4 rocking chairs and a BBQ grill. • Extra sleeping pads available in addition to the 7 beds. Guest access • There is a fire pit that you are welcome to use, firewood can be purchased onsite. • There are a few times a year that the bison cannot be seen from the apartment due to pasture rotation. • We try to accommodate a ride for your group thru the bison most days except Sunday, April-September. The cost is $12/pp (ages 3 and up, 2 and under free) and must be reserved ahead. After September the fields can get too wet so the ride depends on weather and if it’s safe for the fields. • You are welcome to use the backyard. Other things to note * We are willing to accommodate additional guests with prior approval. * Your space is the lower level with the main floor above it, where we live. While we installed as much sound insulation as possible, you can still expect to hear normal but muffled noises outside of quiet hours (footsteps, TV, voices, washer/dryer, etc.). We do our best to avoid the squeaky floors during quiet hours!
