Private room with ensuite only 40 mins from London

We are based only 40-minutes outside central London (Victoria & Charing Cross)! A bright and airy room, with private en-suite bathroom (there is NO kitchen). We know you will be comfortable and relaxed staying in our fully renovated tranquil and peaceful room. We have tried to mix all the feels of a luxury hotel room, with a cosy bedroom at home, and are sure you will leave feeling more rested than when you arrived. **Strictly non-smoking** The space Please note, there is NO kitchen use with this room. It is also a non-smoking/vaping bedroom, and it comes with a private ensuite bathroom. We love meeting new people, and prefer guests who are travelling or visiting for holiday and work, rather than staying in the room all day. We have purpose built this room in our home as a dedicated space for people to stay. We have family and friends who live abroad and we wanted to create somewhere that they could stay when they visit. It also means you can relax and rest in the space and be just as welcome as our family would. We have tried to create a space that is comfortable, peaceful and refreshing. Using claiming colours on the walls and textures that soothe. There are also some practical elements that should make your stay that little bit nicer, like underfloor heating in the private en-suite! We are fortunate to have beautiful ancient woodland behind, and next to our house, that connect up with a large network of green spaces to explore. If you want or need recommendations of places to visit and walk, food or travel connections, just ask - we have lived in London our entire lives. Guest access We are currently renovating the whole of our house, and have completed the room you're looking at. We can guarantee there will be no dust, noise, banging or work carried out for the duration of your stay, but it does mean the rest of the house is still having its facelift! Where possible we have provided facilities to make your stay as comfortable as possible, with a kettle, tea and coffee making facilities, fast, reliable WiFi etc. We are not set up to offer kitchen or dining facilities, and the booking is for the room and en-suite only. We can recommend some excellent places on the high street, just a 5-8 minute walk away. During your stay One of us is in the house most of the time, thanks to hybrid and flexible working, we are also only a call/text away if you need anything, so feel free to message within reasonable hours (8am-11pm). Other things to note As mentioned, we are in the middle of a fairly large scale renovation project, none of which will affect the quiet/comfort of your stay. However it does mean that some areas of the house are less presentable than your beautiful room. We really appreciate your understanding in this, and are certain it won't impact how you enjoy the space you have rented.
