The home is located within a large gated neighborhood filled with amenities including lakes with a swim up beach, pools, basketball and tennis courts and even mini golf. There are two golf courses within 20 minutes of the home as well as many great restaurants, attractions - such as Kalahari Indoor Water Park, Camelback Outdoor Water Park and Ski Resort, and Mount Airy Casino Resort and The Pocono outdoor adventure all just 15-30 mins away. Head out and explore the many excursions close by including horseback riding, mountain biking, hiking and picnicking in the warmer months. When the snow begins to fall, the Poconos Mountains become a winter wonderland with skiing, snowmobiling and even dogsled racing. The house is under 100 miles from NYC and just over 100 miles to Philadelphia making it the perfect getaway to escape the city. The best way to get around is with your own car or rental with ample free parking available and included in your stay. Guests can also use rideshare apps, call taxis, or car services that are available at all times of the day. There are also local buses that service the area and the closest stop is approximately 15 minute walk from the home. Guests should also be aware that if any violations are incurred within the house and gated neighborhood they will be responsible for paying (e.g. if you get pulled over or do anything you shouldn’t and receive a ticket or fine). There are 6 security cameras around the house - monitoring the driveway, front porch, sides of the home, back left and back right corners of the back yard. These cameras are actively recording the surroundings/periphery of the home for safety purposes only. There is a doorbell camera that is motion activated and records video and audio in small clips. There is also a smart home device near the back sliding doors in the kitchen that actively records noise decibel levels to monitor for alarms. It does not record or store any audio or video. There are no cameras on the interior of the house
