Less than a 20 minute drive to South Beach, Miami Int'l Airport, the Port of Miami, Downtown Miami and hospitals. Steps from Midtown Miami, The Design District, Wynwood, and Bayside. My place is a modern, comfortable, private and quiet 2nd floor apartment with an open living area ideal for relaxing. Perfect for couples, solo adventurers, business travelers, people in transition, and families who want more than just a room. The apartment is located on the 2nd floor in the rear of the property. Follow the white stone driveway to the back of the property. Your designated parking space is straight ahead along the side of the rear building. Look for the sign that indicates parking for Apt C. After parking the car, walk back to the area between the main house and the rear building (where the garbage bins are). Look for the black metal staircase. Apartment C is at the top of the staircase. Your apartment has all brand new furniture, including new 65" 4K, HDTV, beds and sofa. Every effort has been made to make your stay seem like you are at home. You have the entire apartment to yourselves. Electronic locks allow for 24 hour check-in, if needed. Please be mindful of the tenants that live downstairs and in the front house. Upon confirmation of the number of guests arriving and the approximate time of arrival we will send our guests a Welcome Text with the codes to the electronic door locks and the WIFI passcodes. This will be done on the Airbnb app. Afterwards, we are available by phone and / or text for any issues that come up. If you need anything, please let us know. Please note that communications after 12midnight may not be returned until the next day. Text first, please. If you are going to arrive after 12 midnight, please let me know. This apartment (Apt C) is located on a property with two other housing units. Please do not knock on the other doors or otherwise disturb the tenants. Please call me with any and all questions. Our check-in time is after 4pm and conditioned on whether the housekeeping staff has completed their work. We do run into situations beyond our control where the housekeepers may not have completed refreshing the apartment by 4pm. If this is the case we will attempt to communicate with you or your designate and manage expectations as to when the apartment will be ready. This happens very, very rarely. We ask for your patience in these rare situations. We want to do a great job for you, so please call or text if there is anything we forgot, have not made clear, or need to do. Neighborhood is known as Buena Vista. It is located just north of the Design District, Midtown Miami and Wynwood. It's a quiet, peaceful and safe bedroom community. Most visitors will use this neighborhood as a convenient jumping off point to go into Midtown, Wynwood, Downtown Miami or to the beaches. There is a large Publix located at 4870 Biscayne Boulevard, Miami, FL 33137. You will need a car to go there. There is also a Target in the Midtown Miami Mall, approximately 1 mile away. Several local supermarkets are within walking distance (NW 2nd Avenue). The best of these is the Family Dollar Store at 4190 NW 2nd Avenue. There is a Miami city bus #2 that stops within steps of the house on 2nd avenue that can take you where you want to go. It can take you directly into Downtown Miami. Please be sure to have the exact change so bring several coins. Most people either rent a car or use UBER / Lyft. COMMUNITY: This is the main house of a triplex property. It is marked "A" In the back of the property there is a duplex which I also list on Airbnb. It is a short term vacation community. Please do not bother the other guests. If you have any questions or concerns please ask the Host SECURITY CAMERAS: Be aware that the house has security cameras that face outside, covering the yard, doors and window openings. I do not monitor on an on-going basis. They are there in the event something does happen. Up to this point nothing has. BBQ GRILL: The BBQ Grill is there for your use and enjoyment and is free of charge. However, there is a $50 fee that will be deducted from the Security Deposit if it is left uncleaned, unless other arrangements have been made. PETS: Most pets are welcome, but need to be discussed with the Host before the arrival date. A pet fee of $30 per pet, per stay will be charged. Airbnb provides the opportunity for the guest to pay this pet fee on their platform. SMOKING: Smoking of any substance is not allowed in the apartment. Guest will be held responsible for all damage caused by the smoking including, but not limited to, stains, burns, odors, and removal of debris. Guest acknowledges that in order to remove odor caused by smoking, the Host may need to replace blinds, drapes and paint the interior walls regardless of when these items were last cleaned, replaced, or repainted. FREE PARKING: Every booking includes free parking on the property for one vehicle. Your car will be very safe. Just close the driveway gate behind you. Please don't block the driveways or allow visitors to do so. They will be towed. Entrance to the apartment is via a code which I provide the day of arrival. COMMUNICATION: Timely, courteous and respectful communication between Hosts, Guests and housekeeping staff is key to a successful stay.
