San Juan Overlook Take in panoramic views of the San Juan Mountains at this gorgeous log home, stunningly situated on five acres of land just outside Pagosa Springs. Enjoy an expansive back deck overlooking the mountains. This home is incredibly atmospheric, with exposed log walls, a grand stone fireplace, and taxidermy mounts adorning the walls (including a mountain lion perched atop one of the crossbeams). The well-equipped kitchen features stainless steel appliances and plenty of prep space, and there's lots of room at mealtime between the standalone kitchen island and the large dining table. Outside, you can grill on the patio, dine on the beautiful deck, and watch for passing deer and elk (with most of the property's acreage going downhill off the back of the house). In the evenings, gather around the firepit to roast marshmallows and watch the stars come out over the mountains. THINGS TO KNOW For a separate fee, guests can enjoy access to the pool, tennis court, basketball court, and volleyball court of Pagosa Lakes Recreation Center. The fireplace is not available for guest use. 2 dog(s), weighing 45lbs or less, are welcome in this home. No other animals are allowed without specific Vacasa approval.
